The Science Olympiad was held at UCF on Saturday, May 9th. The students competed in 13 different events consisting of various topics like anatomy, rocks, biology, constellations, etc.

As raw scores show, the team placed 11th in Water Rockets and 7th in Rock Hounds, out of about 40 teams. The team was coached by Ms. Puckhaber, a 4th grade teacher at Henderson Hammock, and assisted by Ms. Hoos, another 4th grade teacher at Henderson Hammock.

Two of our students launched their homemade water rocket at the Science Olympiad competition in Orlando, Florida on Saturday May 9th. They were to build a water rocket that would shoot up and last the longest in the air. They completed the task successfully with new ideas for next year.
